The Cleanathon Drive was a community-focused environmental initiative organized on September 29, 2024, at Lalbagh. The project aimed to promote cleanliness and environmental sustainability by encouraging responsible waste management. Volunteers from the Rotaract Club of Bengaluru South End actively participated in collecting waste, including plastic and biodegradable materials, ensuring proper segregation at the source. The event raised awareness about the importance of maintaining clean public spaces and inspired locals and visitors to take part in keeping their surroundings clean. The drive not only contributed to the beautification of Lalbagh but also emphasized the role of individual action in creating a cleaner, greener city.
