On 5th September 2024, the ECO GANAPATI event was held at Nalanda English School, in collaboration with Rotary Bengaluru Basavanagudi and the school's Interact Club. The event celebrated creativity, sustainability, and tradition, as students gathered to make their own eco-friendly clay Ganesha idols. Under the guidance of visual artist Likitha R. Jain, a textile designer and advocate for sustainability, the participants molded Ganesha idols from clay that would eventually turn into plants. The hands-on activity allowed everyone to express their creativity while learning the importance of eco-friendly practices during Ganesh Chaturthi. Adding to the joy of the day, we also celebrated Teachers' Day by honoring the teachers of Nalanda English School with a special tribute. The event was a beautiful blend of artistic expression, cultural celebration, and gratitude, bringing students, teachers, and Rotaractors together in a meaningful, festive experience.
