The Rotaract Club of Mount Carmel College (RaCMCC), participated in a CPR Training and Awareness Campaign on September 25th and 26th, 2024 organized by Manipal Hospitals Bengaluru, South Cluster and ISRC. This initiative, aimed at empowering participants with life-saving skills, was hosted at the college premises. Expert trainers from Manipal conducted the sessions, providing hands-on training to attendees, enabling them to effectively perform CPR in critical situations. The campaign was driven by the increasing need to address sudden cardiac arrests, particularly among young people and working professionals. Later the trained students participated in creating a record for the most number of CPRs performed in one location on 29th September organized by Manipal hospital in collaboration with Rotary Club.
