🐕RADIUM ROVER🎗 On 8th September 2024, the Rotaract Club of Shishu Mandir, in collaboration with Keerthi, organized a significant community project dedicated to the welfare and safety of stray dogs. Keerthi, who has long been involved in feeding stray dogs and providing them with reflective safety belts to prevent accidents, led the initiative alongside more than 10 committed volunteers from the Rotaract Club. The project saw the volunteers tie protective belts around the necks of over 50 stray dogs, ensuring they were more visible to drivers, especially at night, reducing the likelihood of road accidents. In addition to the safety measures, the team also provided nutritious meals to the dogs, contributing to their overall well-being. The event highlighted not just the compassion for animals but also underscored the Rotaract Club's commitment to addressing important issues within the community, transcending human-centered causes. By improving the lives of these stray animals, the club and its volunteers played a crucial role in promoting animal welfare and safety in the local area. Furthermore, the project served as an opportunity to raise awareness among the volunteers and the wider community about the need for consistent efforts to protect and care for stray dogs. With plans to continue such efforts in the future, the Rotaract Club and Keerthi aim to expand their outreach, ensuring the safety and care of more stray animals while fostering a sense of responsibility and kindness within the community.
