The Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College, Community Service Avenue launched a meaningful initiative titled "Touch of Trust" on October 24th to educate underprivileged children about the crucial topic of good touch and bad touch. This initiative, carried out at the Shifting Orbits Foundation, aimed to provide these young beneficiaries with the knowledge and confidence to safeguard themselves in various situations. The workshop addressed this sensitive topic in an approachable and interactive way, ensuring the children understood the importance of personal boundaries and could recognize when to seek help. During the session, we interacted with a group of 8 children in an environment that encouraged open discussion. The workshop included engaging activities, discussions, and examples designed to resonate with the young participants. By fostering an atmosphere of trust, the session allowed the children to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and questions. Through interactive exercises, they learned to identify and respond to uncomfortable situations, empowering them with the skills to protect themselves and understand their personal rights. In conclusion, "Touch of Trust" achieved its objectives, creating a positive impact on the lives of the children involved. By equipping these underprivileged children with the tools they need for self-protection, the initiative underscored the importance of early education on personal safety, building their confidence and awareness. This project reflects our commitment to fostering a safer and more informed community, contributing to the well-being and security of its youngest members.
