In commemoration of World Post Day and National Post Day, the Rotaract Club of Utkarsh organized the Kalam Mitr, a networking project. This initiative brought together 20 participants from 10 different clubs spanning 7 districts. Each participant was paired with a Kalam Mitr (pen pal) and engaged in meaningful email exchanges from October 6th to October 8th, 2024. The project culminated in a reflective session held on October 10th. The key highlight of this project was the diverse participation showcasing the reach and impact of the Rotaract Club's initiative across multiple districts. This diversity enriched the exchange of ideas and perspectives among participants. It also allowed participants to have a meanings conversation spanning 3 days. The Google Meet session on October 10th provided a platform for participants to share their experiences and insights gained from the project. It facilitated discussions on the importance of communication, cultural awareness, and the role of initiatives like Kalam Mitr in promoting global understanding. The Kalam Mitr networking project successfully celebrated World Post Day and National Post Day by promoting meaningful connections and cultural exchange among participants. By bridging distances and fostering friendships through email exchanges, the project not only honored the spirit of postal communication but also highlighted the importance of cross-cultural understanding in today's interconnected world. The 7 different districts that participated were: 3011, 3030, 3131, 3191, 3192, 3292, and 3080.
