The Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College hosted a virtual Halloween event titled Spooktacular Soiree, bringing members together to celebrate the spirit of Halloween through a series of interactive and spine-chilling activities. The event took place on Google Meet with 16 participants from various clubs and districts. The meeting commenced with a warm round of introductions, setting a friendly and relaxed atmosphere as participants joined in. The event kicked off with a storytelling session where attendees shared personal and family horror stories, delving into eerie encounters and supernatural experiences. This was followed by a sharing of family superstitions, giving everyone a glimpse into unique cultural beliefs and spooky tales passed down through generations. To amplify the suspense, a short murder mystery game was organized. Participants were given clues and worked together to deduce who the "murderer" was, making for an engaging and suspenseful experience that heightened the Halloween thrill. Next, the group played The Wolf Among Us - an episodic graphic mystery adventure game based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic book series, a collaborative game in which the host shared their screen. This interactive game kept participants on their toes. The meeting concluded after a fun-filled session, leaving everyone with a sense of camaraderie and a Halloween thrill.The Spooktacular Soiree was a resounding success, fostering camaraderie and bringing members together through thrilling stories, engaging games, and shared superstitions.
