On October 24th and 25th, 2024, the Rotaract Club of RVCE, in collaboration with the NGO Yuvaka Sangha, organized the Green Campus Competition across five government schools. The event aimed to foster environmental awareness among students through creative competitions, focusing on topics related to sustainability and eco-friendly practices. The competition featured the categories: essay writing, poem writing, and poster making, encouraging students to express their ideas on building a sustainable environment. A team of 15 volunteers from the Rotaract Club of RVCE actively assisted the school staff throughout the event. They supported the smooth conduct of the competitions, evaluated student submissions, and played a key role in announcing the winners. The event provided a platform for young minds to engage with environmental issues creatively, promoting awareness about the importance of sustainability. Through their involvement, the volunteers not only facilitated the event but also connected with students to inspire eco-conscious thinking. The Green Campus Competition exemplified a meaningful collaboration between Rotaract RVCE and Yuvaka Sangha, reflecting their shared commitment to environmental education and social responsibility.
