On October 23, 2024, the Rotaract Clubs of Jain Evening College and Jyoti Nivas College teamed up for a meaningful session called “EmoPower,” all about building emotional resilience. The event was led by Mr. Shon Ranji, who inspired participants to dig deep into self-awareness and personal values. Mr. Ranji started by inviting everyone to reflect on who they are and what truly matters to them. Through an activity, he helped participants pinpoint their core values. Using examples like Walt Disney and Sachin Tendulkar, he showed how aligning with one’s values—and surrounding oneself with supportive people—leads not only to success but to real fulfillment. He also tackled common struggles like overstimulation and overthinking, explaining how they can cloud our minds. To combat this, he suggested three simple habits: prioritizing good sleep, writing down thoughts, and sticking to a morning routine. Introducing “emotional reprogramming,” Mr. Ranji broke down how personal growth often begins with difficult feelings like loss or loneliness but ultimately leads to self-discovery and inner strength. The session was incredibly interactive, with participants opening up about their own challenges and engaging in candid discussions. It wrapped up with a warm vote of thanks, leaving everyone with practical tools and a renewed sense of emotional strength.
