From September 27 to 30, 2024, nineteen members of the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar took part in the SEARIC Summit - Kashi 2024, hosted at Hotel Surya Palace in Kashi. The three-day event gathered Rotaractors from across the region, offering a blend of cultural engagement, leadership activities, and fellowship. The summit began with a DRR felicitation ceremony on the first day, followed by a visit to the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the spiritual essence of Kashi. The second day included a packed schedule of events aimed at skill development and social interaction. Activities commenced with a DRRs Meet and the Mr. & Miss Summit contest, designed to highlight participants' leadership qualities and talents. Following the contest, the program continued with a series of DRR presentations and a business session focused on vocational growth and networking. One of the highlights of the second day was a district cultural showcase where members from the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar, along with representatives from other clubs in District 3191, performed to represent Bangalore. The evening featured a DJ night and gala dinner, creating an upbeat atmosphere for participants to connect in a relaxed setting. On the final day, participants attended the Ganga Ghat Aarti, a unique spiritual experience followed by a traditional lunch and a guided tour of the historic site of Sarnath. The day provided a reflective and cultural close to the summit’s activities. Members of the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar found the SEARIC Summit - Kashi 2024 to be an enriching experience, praising the diverse programming that combined cultural appreciation with opportunities for professional growth. The summit left attendees with valuable insights, stronger bonds with fellow Rotaractors, and a renewed sense of camaraderie and engagement.
