Rotaract Bangalore South Parade, in collaboration with Rotary Bangalore South Parade, Rotaract SICM, and Rotaract Bangalore Orchards, proudly organized Dandiya Dhammal 2.0 on October 20th, 2024, at Rajput Sabha in Vasanth Nagar. The evening was a beautiful blend of tradition, celebration, and community spirit, marking the festival with joy and togetherness. The event began with a soulful pooja dedicated to Durga Mata, celebrating her victory over the demon king Mahishasura. This ritual set a reverent and blessed atmosphere, embodying the triumph of good over evil and the protective power of the divine. Following the pooja, everyone gathered on the dance floor, where vibrant colors and joyful energy filled the room as participants of all ages joined in for Garba and Dandiya. The scene was a visual treat, with traditional attire and rhythmic dance moves creating an electrifying atmosphere. To add to the excitement, there were mesmerizing performances by skilled Garba dancers, captivating the audience and amplifying the festive spirit. As the evening progressed, a delicious authentic Gujarati dinner was served, giving everyone a chance to recharge before heading back to the dance floor.
