On 2nd October 2024, as part of Daan Utsav (The Joy of Giving Week), the Rotaract Club of Bengaluru United and the Rotary Bengaluru Basavanagudi, in collaboration with Rotaract District 3191, Let’s be the Change, and Trash to Cash, organized the Mega Operation Repurpose Drive—a city-wide community service initiative focused on sustainable waste management and environmental awareness. This impactful event involved setting up collection stalls across the city to encourage citizens to drop off recyclable items such as e-waste, single-use plastics, clothes, books, and more. The drive aimed to educate the community about waste segregation and repurposing, helping to build a more eco-conscious society. Through this joint effort, our clubs, along with District 3191, contributed to making the city cleaner and greener while embodying the spirit of giving during Daan Utsav. Together, we made a lasting impact, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment and inspiring positive change in our community.
