EVENT DESCRIPTION: The day commenced with an energetic dance performance titled "Paramvah" by the Rotaract Club of BMSCE, setting a vibrant tone for the event. This was followed by presentations on various Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact Club projects, showcasing ongoing community initiatives in areas like healthcare, education, and sustainability, inspiring the audience with stories of impactful service. Next, the event featured a creative skit introducing the life of the District Governor Rtn. Satish Madhavan, offering an engaging look at the DG’s role and responsibilities, blending humor with insight. Following the skit, the Rotaract Club of IIFT organized a fashion ramp walk to formally invite the DG to the stage. This elegant segment welcomed the DG, who gave an inspiring speech on Rotary's future and the importance of service-oriented leadership. The cultural segment continued with a vibrant dance performance by Rotaract Club of JEC, followed by an entertaining dance by the District Secretary and District General, much to the delight of the audience. A refreshing snacks break provided a brief interlude, during which a Rotarian performed a soulful song, keeping the atmosphere light and joyful. This was followed by cultural performances by the Interact Club of Sophia in a mixed-genre dance, as well as a powerful dance by Rotaract Club of RVCE. The audience was thoroughly entertained by the variety of performances that celebrated both traditional and modern art forms. The keynote talks then took center stage. Yogesh Master, a celebrated Filmmaker, Writer, and Music Director, delivered an inspiring talk on the role of creativity in social transformation, encouraging young leaders to use their talents for the greater good. He was then felicitated for his contributions. Following him, Adityodaya Karna Belagere, a respected Educationist, spoke about the power of education to uplift communities and bridge societal gaps. He, too, was felicitated for his invaluable work in the education sector. After lunch, the Fashion Rampwalk took place, judged by Bigg Boss Kannada 10 contestant Eshani. This retro-themed competition saw enthusiastic participation, and Eshani later announced the winners from both the men’s and women’s sections, adding a competitive edge to the event’s entertainment. The afternoon continued with musical performances, beginning with Eshani's soulful singing that captivated the audience. This was followed by an energetic rap performance by Martinyo, whose dynamic lyrics and stage presence had the audience cheering. Then, Nandini Ganiga Rayee took the stage, mesmerizing the crowd with her beautiful vocals in a performance that added a tranquil touch to the day. Towards the end of the event, District Governor Rtn. Satish Madhavan presented mementos to all the participating Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact Clubs, including the Rotaract Club of BMSCE, as a token of appreciation for their contributions to YUVAM 2024 – Youth Services ICGF. The event concluded on a high note with a lively DJ performance by DJ Madan, who got everyone on their feet, dancing and celebrating the success of the event.
