Rotaract Club of Shantiniketan visited Savanadurga to promote environmental awareness, encouraged sustainable practices, and contribute positively to our surroundings. To plant trees and improve the green cover in Savandurga Volunteers engaged with local school, sharing information about the importance of preserving natural habitats and reducing pollution. Equipped with necessary tools participants cleaned up the area collecting wastes and ensuring the place was free of litter. To promote reforestation saplings were planted in designated area. Through this initiative, club has not only contributed to enhancing Savanadurga’s environment but also instead a sense of responsibility among the participants and the community. CONCLUSION: Hasiru peelige - green generation project was a successful step towards promoting eco consciousness and sustainability. We aim to continue such initiatives to make a positive environmental impact and foster a culture of environmental responsibility within our college community.
