Rotaract Club of Koramangala organised an online session with the Interact Club of Sophia High School on stress management session titled "HappyHub". The objective was to equip students with tools for managing stress and fostering emotional resilience in a supportive environment. This initiative was conducted under the guidance of experienced facilitators Rtn. Sridhar Ramu and Rtn. Nandini Naraya who introduced the interactors to various mindfulness techniques and relaxation exercises aimed at promoting mental well-being. The event started off with an icebreaker session on a game of "this or that" and moved on with a briefing about the upcoming hour of talk by Rtn. Sridhar Ramu. The session was then taken over by Rtn. Nandini Narayan in which one of the key highlights was the practice of Ho’oponopono, an ancient Hawaiian technique for reconciliation and forgiveness, which involves repeating simple phrases to cultivate a sense of gratitude, forgiveness, and release. The interactors found this practice especially beneficial, as it provided them with a powerful tool to manage emotions and reduce stress. In addition to Ho’oponopono, the session included interactive activities, guided meditation, and breathing exercises, which helped the participants become more aware of their thoughts and emotions. These activities were structured to empower the students to handle challenges with greater positivity and resilience. The "HappyHub" session was well-received by the interactors, who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn valuable stress management techniques. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with students noting how the session helped them develop a calmer and more focused mindset.
