Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is one of the most celebrated and cherished festivals in India and among Indian communities worldwide. It symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Rotaract Club of Bangalore SouthWest organized a Diwali Carnival for the orphan kids at Tirupur Moms Club, Tamil Nadu, on October 28, 2024. The event was organized to celebrate Diwali with the little ones to make them feel loved and pampered during the festival time. We, as a club, distributed sweets to 120 orphan kids along with the 80 staff members of the orphanage. After distributing sweets, our members engaged the children in a variety of enjoyable activities, including dancing, painting, art and craft, and entertaining games. Since we could make sure that even those who are frequently disregarded or forgotten can experience the joy and warmth of Diwali, we were ecstatic to see the children having a good time. Ultimately, the day concluded with a group photo and a wealth of lifelong memories.
