Rotaract Club of KSSEM, in collaboration with Rotary District 3191 and Saradev Eye Hospital, organized a free eye checkup camp titled "Netra Nakshe" to promote eye health and vision care. Held at the Kavirathna Kalidasa Auditorium, the event welcomed teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and Rotaractors to receive free eye examinations starting from 9:30 AM on 23rd October. This camp provided a platform for participants to prioritize their eye health while raising awareness about the importance of regular eye checkups. The event was supported by prominent individuals, including Dr. K. Rama Narasimha (Principal/Director), Dr. K V A Balaji (CEO, KSGI), and key figures from the Kammavari Sangam, such as Sri. R. Rajagopal Naidu (President), Sri. R. Leela Shankar Rao (Hon. Secretary), and Sri. T. Neerajakshullu Naidu (Treasurer). The primary objectives of "Netra Nakshe" were to encourage proactive eye care within the community, provide accessible healthcare services to those in need, and foster partnerships between local organizations and healthcare providers. Through this initiative, the Rotaract Club of KSSEM, in collaboration with Rotary District 3191, aimed to improve community well-being by ensuring that participants could benefit from a comprehensive eye examination, identifying and addressing potential vision issues early on. This initiative served as a call to action for community members to prioritize their eye health, reflecting the Rotaract Club's commitment to building a healthier and more proactive society.
