In the spirit of Diwali, the Rotaract Club of Koramangala, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Kanakapura, organized a festive celebration for students at a government high school in Banavasi. The event brought joy and togetherness to over 150 students, celebrating with delicious food, fun games, and thoughtful gifts. 📝 Festive Meal (Oota): The celebration began with a special lunch prepared for the students. Volunteers served a festive meal with over 10 different items, giving the students a taste of the Diwali spirit through traditional food. The joyful atmosphere created a sense of community and celebration among the kids and volunteers alike. 📝 Games and Activities: After lunch, the students engaged in games like dodgeball and handball. Volunteers joined in, creating a lively environment where everyone enjoyed the friendly competition and playful interaction. The energy and laughter shared made it a memorable experience for all. 📝 Valedictory and Diwali Gift Distribution: The closing ceremony featured the distribution of sweet boxes, donated by Zone Sorcerers to celebrate Diwali. Each student received a sweet box, adding to the festive cheer and giving them a special takeaway for the holiday. 📝 Donation of Sports Equipment: To encourage physical activity and play, the Rotaract Club donated sports equipment to the school, including cricket bats, badminton rackets, a football, and a carrom board. This contribution will provide the students with more opportunities for recreation and teamwork, enhancing their school experience. The Pre-Diwali celebration was a heartwarming event, fostering joy, connection, and community spirit. The students and volunteers left with cherished memories, marking the beginning of Diwali in a meaningful and impactful way.
