"Learning is a grand adventure for curious minds." We, the members of Rotaract Bangalore Vijayanagar, are proud to present "Abhyasa 2.0," our flagship project for 2024-2025. This initiative is dedicated to empowering 80 government school children by providing them with essential skills that will shape their educational journey and future opportunities. Through Abhyasa 2.0, our focus is on teaching spoken English, the basics of computers, and foundational manners and discipline. Each Saturday, we dedicate two hours to engaging with these students, creating an enriching environment that promotes both academic and personal growth. Spoken English: We equip students with the fundamentals of spoken English, a skill that opens doors to effective communication, further education, and better job prospects in the future. Basics of Computers: In today’s digital world, computer literacy is indispensable. Abhyasa 2.0 introduces students to essential computer skills, enabling them to navigate technology, use basic software, and even consider future careers in tech. Manners and Discipline: Recognizing the importance of character development, we also emphasize basic manners and discipline. By teaching students these crucial social skills, we aim to foster respect, responsibility, and a positive outlook that will serve them well in life. Through regular Saturday sessions, Abhyasa 2.0 ensures consistent learning, allowing students to build their knowledge step-by-step over the year. By providing these young minds with English and computer skills, along with core values, we are empowering them to excel academically and enhance their future potential. Abhyasa 2.0 represents our commitment to bridging educational gaps, fostering empowerment, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of government school students.
