The Rotaract Club of Ramanagara successfully organized the Plastic-Free Ramanagara Initiative on Sunday, 24th November 2024, at Rangarayaradoddi Lake, Ramanagara. The event, which began at 10:30 AM, focused on cleaning the lake and raising awareness about the importance of reducing plastic waste to protect the environment. A total of six dedicated members from the Rotaract Club actively participated in the initiative, alongside members from the Parent Rotary Club of Ramanagara, who lent their invaluable support. Together, the team worked diligently to collect 10 bags of plastic waste, making a significant contribution to restoring the lake's natural beauty and promoting sustainable practices. The initiative highlighted the power of community collaboration in addressing environmental challenges and reinforced the commitment of the Rotaract Club to creating a cleaner and greener Ramanagara.
