Re-Bag Revolution was a joint project by the Rotaract Clubs of SSMRV College, South End, and Avyanna, held on 24th November 2024, to promote eco-friendly packaging and sustainability. The initiative began with a paper bag-making session on 22nd November, where 25 members from SSMRV College crafted 177 paper bags in three hours. On 24th November, a total of 315 bags were distributed to 15 vendors at Kadlekaayi Parshe, with contributions of 177 bags from SSMRV College, 90 from South End, and 48 from Avyanna. The distribution drive, conducted over two hours, involved nine volunteers from the three clubs. The project aimed to reduce single-use plastics and encourage reusable packaging, creating awareness about sustainable practices and plastic pollution. The enthusiastic participation of vendors highlighted the impact of such environmental conservation efforts.
