The study abroad session, “Beyond Borders”, provided an insightful platform where three students who pursued higher education in different countries shared their experiences of studying abroad. They also stressed the importance of applying early to maximize admission and funding opportunities. The students also shared their initial struggles and how they overcame them. All three agreed that adapting to the academic style, which often required more independent learning and critical thinking than in India, was challenging at first. Learning to communicate effectively in a predominantly non-English-speaking country required extra effort.
