The Rotaract Club of Mount Carmel College took an initiative named Pages of Hope, in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College. It aimed to repurpose old, partially used notebooks into fresh ones for children in need, transforming waste into a valuable resource. The donation drive was carried out on 28th and 29th of November, in Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous' campus where the students donated unused notebooks. We collected about 39 partially used notebooks and handed them over to the Rotaract club of Mount Carmel College for completion of the project. These books will be used for making new ones which can be distributed among children in need. The drive was a collaborative effort, receiving generous contributions from various individuals and groups. These recycled notebooks will provide children in need with essential learning materials while reducing paper waste. Pages of Hope showcased how simple actions can create a meaningful impact, combining care for the environment with support for education.
