The Healthtech Revolution (Transforming lives) workshop was organized by the Rotaract Club of Bengaluru Nava Chaitanya in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College. The session aimed at discovering the future of healthcare and how technology is revolutionizing the way we live and heal. Rtr. Subhiksha Sreeharini K S, Director of Club Service, spearheaded the session. With her expertise and engaging presentation style, she guided attendees through the transformative journey of HealthTech innovations. She spoke about Current Trends in Healthtech: Artificial Intelligence (AI): Role in diagnostics, predictive analysis, and personalized medicine; Telemedicine: Bridging gaps in healthcare delivery, especially in remote areas; Wearable Devices: Enhancing real-time health monitoring; Robotics: Revolutionizing surgeries and rehabilitation; Block Chain Technology: Ensuring data security and transparency in healthcare records. She discussed about how HealthTech solutions are addressing real-world challenges such as early diagnosis, cost reduction, and improving healthcare accessibility and success stories of HealthTech startups and innovations globally and in India. She also discussed ethical and social considerations: balancing technology with patient empathy and care and addressing data privacy concerns and regulatory challenges; future prospects of how the integration of technology will shape the next decade of healthcare delivery and opportunities for young professionals to contribute to the HealthTech revolution. The session ended with group discussions during which the participants shared their ideas on potential HealthTech innovations and debated their feasibility. Rtr. Subhiksha addressed queries about the challenges and opportunities in HealthTech adoption. Outcomes of the workshop included increased awareness of HealthTech’s potential to transform the healthcare landscape, encouragement for participants to explore careers and entrepreneurial opportunities in this rapidly growing domain and a stronger collaboration between Rotaract Clubs in promoting educational and impactful initiatives.
