The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Institute of Technology in collaboration with Anusiri Institute, organized a State-Level Competition on November 17, 2024, aimed at nurturing young minds through Chess, Abacus, and Painting contests. The event, designed to encourage skill enhancement and healthy competition, witnessed an overwhelming participation of around 1,000 young students from across the state. Participants showcased their strategic prowess in chess, mental arithmetic in abacus, and creative flair in painting. Rotaract Club of Bangalore Institute of Technology played a crucial role in ensuring the event's success by handling registrations, coordinating between departments, and managing logistics. The competition concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Abacus event on November 24, 2024. The ceremony featured an address by BIT Principal Aswath MU, Rtn Sujith Gupthan highlighting the importance of such events in nurturing young talent. Winners from various age groups were honored with certificates and trophies, celebrating their exceptional performances. The event also included captivating performances like Bharatnatyam and a Rubik’s Cube demonstration.
