BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Krishi Vokkaliga Sangha on account of its 3rd anniversary had organized a free ‘Health and Blood Donation’ camp in association with Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences(KIMS).The event aimed to promote health awareness and encourage blood donation. EVENT DESCRIPTION: The ‘Health and Blood Donation’ camp organized by the ‘Krishi Vokkaliga Sangha’ aimed at providing free health checkups to people and collecting blood to support local hospitals and save lives.The event witnessed people receiving free health checkups,consultations throughout the day and medical professionals were on hand to help out the needy.The event also benefited greatly from the dedication and hard work of volunteers who ensured a smooth experience for all.The specializations included in the health camp were: Medicine OPD Surgery OPD Orthopedics OBG Pediatrics Ophthalmology ENT Dermatology Psychiatry OPD Cardiology Ayurveda Dental checkup Cancer checkup for women The volunteer’s work involved : Assisting doctors and nurses in writing prescriptions,guiding patients towards their respective stalls,helping out elderly people in navigating and taking care of them.,distributing tokens to the patients,interacting with patients while they’re in the waiting area and other significant help. The volunteer’s support contributed significantly to the camp’s success and the event received positive feedback for its organization and impact in highlighting the importance of good health. SPECIAL HIGHLIGHTS: The providence of free health checkup made healthcare accessible to all promoting a health society. The blood donation aimed at supporting local hospitals and saving lives efficiently Special cervical cancer checkup for women played a significant role in promoting cancer awareness among women.
