The Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Banashankari, successfully organized a free health check-up camp on the 12th of December, from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The camp took place at the Chief Coordinator’s Office in the Degree Quadrangle of Jyoti Nivas College, focusing on promoting women’s health and well-being. This initiative, aptly named Femcare, aimed to create awareness about common health concerns like PCOS and PCOD while providing free consultations with expert gynecologists and health check-ups for students and faculty. Participants were offered valuable guidance on managing hormonal imbalances through lifestyle and dietary changes, empowering them to take proactive steps toward a healthier life. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 126 attendees, who benefitted from personalized consultations and learned about early diagnosis, effective treatment options, and preventive measures. Femcare not only addressed key women’s health issues but also served as a platform to foster awareness, education, and empowerment among women. The collaboration between the two Rotaract clubs made this initiative impactful and memorable, underlining the importance of community-driven efforts in addressing critical health concerns.
