The Rotaract Club of RV College of Engineering (RVCE), jointly with Rotary Bangalore Spandana, successfully hosted Fist Full – Phase 2 from December 10 to 18, 2024. This phase marked the culmination of a highly impactful initiative aimed at supporting underprivileged communities across Bengaluru. In November, over 1,700 students from RVCE came together to contribute generously, resulting in the collection of 6.5 tons of rice and 800 kilograms of toor dal. These donations symbolized a collective effort to make a meaningful difference in society. The distribution phase saw the accumulated resources being delivered to six NGOs working tirelessly to uplift vulnerable communities in and around Bengaluru. The project aimed to address food insecurity and extend a helping hand to those in need. This initiative not only highlighted the spirit of service but also demonstrated the power of collective action. The contributions made by RVCE students and the logistical support of Rotary Bangalore Spandana exemplified the values of compassion and responsibility toward society. By bridging the gap between donors and those in need, Fist Full – Phase 2 served as a testament to the impact of youth-driven efforts in creating sustainable change and fostering a sense of community.
