The Rotaract Club of RVCE hosted a heartwarming Secret Santa event on December 25, 2024, to celebrate Christmas with children in orphanages. This initiative aimed to bring joy and festive cheer to underprivileged children, making their holiday season memorable. The event was made possible through the generous contributions of RVCE students, who collectively raised Rs. 12,000 for this noble cause. The funds were utilized to purchase a variety of gifts and essential items, which were thoughtfully distributed to five different orphanages across Bengaluru on Christmas day. These gifts included toys, cakes, educational supplies, and other necessities that brought smiles to the faces of the children. Volunteers from the Rotaract Club spent the day with the children, engaging them in fun-filled activities, games, and festive celebrations. The interactions were filled with laughter, warmth, and the true spirit of Christmas, fostering connections that went beyond material gifts.
