BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Santa Bow Wow was an animal welfare event designed to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership and promote the adoption of abandoned dogs. The event brought together volunteers, pet lovers, and community members to create a joyful, impactful day for both people and animals. . EVENT DESCRIPTION: The event was organized by the Rotaract Club of BMSCE in collaboration with Weekend Dog Park Cubbon Park featured various activities aimed at making a difference for animals: Adoption Drive Three adorable dogs—Yuki, Duggu, and Coffee—were introduced to attendees to encourage adoption and provide them with loving homes. Children’s Corner Volunteers engaged children with fun and interactive activities like hand painting, storytelling, and Christmas carols to spread festive cheer and joy. Special Highlights A volunteer dressed as Santa Claus embodied the vision of providing homes to abandoned dogs, symbolizing hope and care for animals in need. A unique ramp walk featuring indie breed dogs emphasized their charm and encouraged attendees to adopt local breeds. Volunteer Activities Volunteers assisted in logistics, photography, crowd management, and engagement with children to ensure the event ran smoothly and left a lasting impact.
