๐ฐ Rotaract Inter Club Exchange โ Day 5 Report ๐ Date: 18th December 2024 ๐ Theme: Cultural Heritage & Nature Exploration โ Mysore Day Organized by: Rotaract Club of Marathahalli On the fifth day of the exchange program, Rtr. Chethan guided our friends from the Rotaract Club of Mahabhouddha, Nepal on a special trip to Mysore, a city known for its rich culture and royal history. ๐ Morning: Mysore Palace Visit The day began with a tour of the beautiful Mysore Palace. The team was amazed by its royal look, grand halls, and detailed carvings. They learned about the Wodeyar dynasty and took lots of pictures inside the palace. ๐ฆ Visit to Mysore Zoo Next, the group went to Mysore Zoo, one of Indiaโs oldest and most well-kept zoos. Everyone enjoyed seeing animals like lions, tigers, giraffes, and colorful birds. It was both fun and educational. ๐ฝ๏ธ Brunch with Local Flavors The team then took a break and had a tasty brunch at a popular Mysore cafรฉ. They enjoyed famous dishes like Mysore Masala Dosa, soft idlis, and hot filter coffee, getting a true taste of Mysore. ๐๏ธ Sand Museum Visit After brunch, they visited the unique Sand Museum. The group admired beautiful sand sculptures that told different stories through art. Everyone was impressed by the creativity and effort behind the sculptures. ๐ Evening: Chamundeshwari Temple To end the tour, they visited the Chamundeshwari Temple on top of Chamundi Hill. The peaceful temple and the stunning view of Mysore city gave the day a calm and spiritual finish. ๐ Return to Bangalore The team reached Bangalore by 10 PM, feeling tired but full of joy. The Mysore trip gave them a deep connection to history, nature, art, and spirituality, creating memories theyโll never forget.
