On the seventh day of the tour, members of the Rotaract Club of Marathahalli (RCM) and the Nepal Rotaract Club arrived together in Udupi after an overnight journey in a sleeper bus. The day promised a wonderful mix of spirituality, adventure, and meaningful service activities. Upon reaching Udupi, the group freshened up and headed straight to the renowned Udupi Krishna Mutt. The serene ambiance of the temple provided the perfect start to their day, as both clubs participated in the darshana and immersed themselves in the spiritual energy of this sacred site. Following this, the team had the privilege of meeting the District Rotaract Representative (DRR) of Udupi. The interaction fostered camaraderie and the exchange of ideas, strengthening bonds between clubs from different regions and reinforcing the global Rotaract spirit. The afternoon brought an adventurous twist as both clubs enjoyed an exciting session of kayaking and boating. The activity, filled with thrill and fun, allowed everyone to connect with nature and build stronger team dynamics. Laughter and cheers echoed as they paddled through the serene waters, creating memories of adventure and togetherness. For lunch, the group relished an authentic Udupi-style seafood feast, with a focus on flavorful and fresh fish dishes, a true delight for food enthusiasts. The meal provided a taste of the region’s rich culinary heritage. Post-lunch, the team headed to the scenic Malpe Beach, where they spent time relaxing, soaking in the coastal beauty, and enjoying the cool breeze. Conversations, laughter, and the peaceful rhythm of the waves made this a refreshing stop for all. In the evening, the clubs joined forces for a noble cause—a beach cleanup drive at Malpe Beach. Armed with gloves, bags, and a shared sense of responsibility, they worked together to clear litter and spread awareness about environmental preservation. This collaborative effort not only contributed to the community but also symbolized the unity and shared values between the RCM and Nepal clubs. The day in Udupi was a remarkable mix of spirituality, adventure, cultural experiences, and impactful service. Both clubs walked away with strengthened bonds, unforgettable memories, and the satisfaction of making a difference together.
