šŸŒ„ Rotaract Inter Club Exchange – Day 8 Report šŸ“… Date: 21st December 2024 šŸ“ Location: Coorg, Karnataka šŸŽÆ Theme: Nature, Culture & Tranquility šŸ¤ Clubs Involved: Rotaract Club of Marathahalli & Rotaract Club of Mahabhouddha (Nepal) After concluding an impactful beach cleanup at Malpe, members of the Rotaract Club of Marathahalli (RCM) and the Rotaract Club of Mahabhouddha boarded an overnight bus to the tranquil hill station of Coorg—a destination famed for its misty hills, coffee plantations, and serene vibes. šŸ  Warm Welcome at the President’s Home Upon arrival, the team was graciously hosted at the residence of RCM President Rtr. Ashwini N., where they were welcomed with warmth, comfort, and the scenic calm of Coorg's highlands. šŸš¶ā€ā™€ļø Morning Nature Walk The day began with a refreshing morning walk through foggy, chilled trails, allowing everyone to soak in the beauty of Coorg’s mist-covered landscapes. The peaceful environment and gentle mountain breeze offered the perfect start to a day of bonding and relaxation. šŸ½ļø Traditional Coorgi Breakfast A delightful breakfast featuring authentic Coorg delicacies followed. The hearty meal energized the group and introduced them to the rich flavors of Kodava cuisine. ā˜• Coffee Estate Tour Next, the team explored one of Coorg’s iconic coffee plantations, gaining insights into the coffee-making process—from bean picking to brewing. The lush green estate and the aroma of fresh coffee made this an immersive and memorable experience. 🌿 Raja’s Seat – Scenic Splendor The group visited Raja’s Seat, a famous viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the Coorg valley. Surrounded by vibrant gardens and cool breezes, the spot was perfect for photos, reflection, and appreciating nature's grandeur. šŸ›• Omkareshwara Temple Visit A spiritual highlight of the day was the visit to the Omkareshwara Temple, known for its unique Indo-Islamic architecture and peaceful setting. The visit added a spiritual and historical touch to the journey. šŸ« Local Delights & Souvenirs To wrap up the day, members explored local shops and indulged in Coorg’s homemade treasures—chocolates, spices, and coffee. These items not only made perfect souvenirs but also captured the essence of Coorg’s culinary and cultural identity. šŸ’¬ Reflection Day 8 in Coorg was a perfect blend of nature, culture, and relaxation.
