Blanket Drive: Spreading Warmth and Kindness The Rotaract Club of Bishop Cotton Women's Christian College organized a heartfelt Blanket Drive, sponsored generously by our Zone Rotaract Representatives (ZRRs), Rtr. Nagendra and Rtr. Anuja of Zone Sorcerers. Their support enabled us to distribute 100 blankets to those in dire need, creating a profound impact on the lives of many. The drive was conducted during the night, ensuring that the most vulnerable and needy individuals could be identified. Our volunteers ventured into areas like K.R. Market, nearby churches, and Shivajinagar, spreading warmth and care to people braving the cold streets. As the blankets were handed out, the recipients’ blessings and heartfelt gratitude deeply moved us, reaffirming the importance of serving humanity. Beyond providing physical warmth, the drive also offered emotional comfort, reminding the less fortunate that they are seen, valued, and cared for. This initiative showcased the power of collective effort and kindness. We are immensely grateful to our ZRRs, for their unwavering support, and to all the Rotaractors who made this drive successful. Together, we transformed a cold night into one filled with hope, love, and compassion.
