On February 22nd, the Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College organized an insightful session on "Emotional Awareness," focusing on the significance of understanding and managing emotions in daily life. The session emphasized how emotional awareness plays a crucial role in decision-making and overall well-being. The speaker for the event was Ms. Viraja Maganti, who provided a simple yet profound analysis of emotions and their impact. The session was conducted online via Google Meet from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and saw active participation from attendees. Ms. Viraja guided the participants through different types of emotions experienced in everyday life and encouraged them to reflect on their personal emotional responses. Her approach was highly interactive, ensuring that the session remained engaging and relatable. One of the highlights was a fun icebreaker activity, where participants were shown various objects and asked to associate them with specific emotions, leading to insightful discussions on emotional connections.
