The Rotaract club of Jyoti nivas college, organised a donation drive to collect sanitary pads and diapers for the people in need. The club actively collected sanitary pads and diapers from students through a donation drive, which took placed in the campus itself. A lot of students pitched in and donated sanitary pads and diapers for this project. The drive took place for 2 days. The communities where access to menstrual and infant hygiene products remains a struggle were identified. Around 10 packets of sanitary pads and 54 diapers were given out to those in need. This helped us realise that there are women who are in need of sanitary pads and other basic needs for their children. With this successful initiative, we aspire to make Dignity & Care a recurring project, striving to support more individuals and promote sustained awareness on hygiene accessibility.
