The Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, organized Threads of Hope 2.0, a clothe donation drive dedicated to providing essential garments to those in need. Over the course of several weeks, our committed team collected gently used women’s and children’s clothing from students, faculty, and staff at the Women’s Lounge, JNC. To maximize outreach, we actively promoted the initiative through social media, posters, and announcements, encouraging generous contributions. After careful assessment, we identified a nearby underprivileged community struggling with limited resources and basic amenities as the recipient. On January 29th, the team visited the area with more than 100 garments to be donated. Beyond distributing garments, we engaged with the residents to better understand their challenges and offer support. Through Threads of Hope 2.0, we were able to positively impact 30 beneficiaries, restoring dignity and providing much-needed relief.
