The Education for Transformation (EFT) Rotaract Summit 2025 was successfully conducted on January 4, 2025. This summit served as a platform for young professionals and students to gain insights from industry experts on entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional growth. The event was organized by District 3191 in collaboration with Delphic Council of Karnataka and hosted by the Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College. The summit began with an inspiring keynote address by GK Pramod (B.E, MBA), a Serial Entrepreneur and Author of "The Second Gear." His speech emphasized the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and leadership in professional and entrepreneurial journeys. There was panel discussion for which the topic was 'From Classroom to Boardroom – Transition from a Student to an Aspiring Entrepreneur', the moderator: being Ajit Kaikini - Director of Buoyancee. Esteemed panelists shared their experiences and insights on navigating the transition from academia to entrepreneurship. The panel included: Bhavya Muthyal - Interior Designer, Founder Director at Solana Kitchens, Meghna Ganguly - CEO, Pawadise Inn, Ganesh Shankar Raj - Founder/CEO/Filmmaker, MINDIA Films and Rajendra Praveen - CEO, Shining Cloud: AR & VR. The discussion highlighted key challenges students face when stepping into the business world, the importance of networking, and the skills necessary for success in entrepreneurship. The topic for the 2nd panel discussion was "Idea to Innovation – Startup and Accelerator Ecosystem for Young India" , for which the moderator was Surendran Unni - DRCC, Dist. 3191. The second panel focused on the startup ecosystem, innovation, and the role of accelerators in supporting young entrepreneurs. The panelists were: Dr. Archana MS - Program Manager, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Lophy Vellara - CEO, Ebenezer Group of Institutions, Vinay Garg - Chief Advisor, Government and Corporate Projects, Manikanth LB - Co-Founder & Director, LUCID IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd . This discussion provided valuable insights into the role of mentorship, funding opportunities, and the evolving startup landscape in India. The Organizing Committee Heads were Dr. Rajesh Palayil - President, EFT & Delphic Council of Karnataka and Surendran Unni - DRCC, Dist. 3191.
