The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Institute of Technology successfully organized the Winter Donation Drive, a community service initiative under the leadership of the Community Service Director and the guidance of our esteemed Club President. The drive commenced in November 2024, with the primary objective of collecting warm clothing for those in need during the harsh winter months. Through the collective efforts of our club members and generous contributions from donors, we amassed an overwhelming 1,300 clothing items. The culmination of this initiative took place in the last week of January 2025, when the donations were distributed to two chosen organizations: Mathrushree Manovikasa Kendra – A center dedicated to the care and support of individuals with special needs. Auxilium Navajeevana – A home for underprivileged children, where we aimed to bring warmth and joy beyond just clothing donations. At Auxilium Navajeevana, our club members took the opportunity to interact with the children, engaging them in fun activities and games to spread happiness. In addition to warm clothes, we also provided stationery kits and craft supplies, encouraging creativity and learning among the young beneficiaries. This initiative was a testament to the dedication of our entire Rotaract team, whose tireless efforts made it a resounding success. Their hard work in organizing, collecting, sorting, and distributing donations played a crucial role in ensuring the warmth of generosity reached those in need.
