BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Gratitude in Action was an initiative by the Rotaract Club of BMSCE aimed at recognizing and appreciating the tireless efforts of civil servants. Through heartfelt letters, we expressed our gratitude to BBMP workers, police officers, and others who served our community. The event culminated in a meaningful Republic Day distribution. EVENT DESCRIPTION: Gratitude in Action was a heartfelt initiative dedicated to acknowledging the unwavering efforts of our civic workers. As part of this event, students and volunteers expressed their appreciation for BBMP workers, police officers, and other public servants through handwritten or digital letters. These messages served as tokens of respect and gratitude for the relentless service they provided to keep our city functional and safe. Participants downloaded the designated letter template, crafted their messages, and uploaded their submissions. The compiled letters were then distributed on Republic Day to the intended recipients, spreading joy and appreciation across the community. Additionally, those interested joined the distribution process, offering a chance to directly interact with and thank these dedicated individuals. This event also qualified as a Social Service activity under the Activity Points Framework, enabling participants to earn certificates and activity points for their contribution. Behind the scenes, the organizing team worked diligently to design an appropriate template, coordinate logistics, and ensure smooth execution. From obtaining permissions to collaborating with civic authorities, every step was meticulously planned to make this initiative impactful and meaningful. SPECIAL HIGHLIGHTS: A unique opportunity to show appreciation for civic workers. Certificates and activity points for participants. Direct interaction with community servants during distribution. BEHIND THE SCENES: Organizing Gratitude in Action required weeks of preparation and coordination. The team designed the letter template, managed outreach efforts to encourage participation, and set up a seamless submission process.
