On January 25 , Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian College hosted a significant cultural exchange program in collaboration with the Rotract Club of Mannar Town, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives District 3220. This initiative aimed to foster understanding and strengthen relationships between India and Sri Lanka through various engaging activities and interactions. The program featured a range of activities designed to facilitate interaction and cultural exchange. Interactive cultural workshops were conducted on traditional crafts from both countries, allowing participants to learn new skills and appreciate each other’s artistic expressions. Open discussions were held on topics such as cultural similarities and differences, social issues, and collaborative opportunities for youth in both countries. Outcomes: The cultural exchange program was a resounding success, achieving its objectives of promoting understanding and friendship between the two nations.
