On Galentine’s Day, the Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous hosted Love in the Digital Air, a heartwarming virtual gathering that celebrated the essence of friendship and sisterhood. The event aimed to create a space where participants could cherish their friendships, share meaningful stories, and engage in moments of joy and nostalgia. More than just a celebration, it was an opportunity to introduce non-Rotaractors to the values and community spirit of our club, showcasing the warmth and inclusivity that define us. The event kicked off with a warm welcome and an introduction to the organizing team, setting the tone for an evening filled with personal storytelling and heartfelt exchanges. Participants were encouraged to share their most cherished friendship stories—some showcased photos, while others invited their best friends to join in and celebrate their bond together. A fun and engaging segment challenged attendees to describe their friends in just three words, leading to moments of laughter, sentimentality, and deep reflection. The discussions naturally flowed into a conversation about the significance of girlhood and the importance of uplifting one another, reinforcing the event’s message of connection and solidarity. Beyond strengthening friendships, Love in the Digital Air also became an avenue to promote our Rotaract Club to a wider audience. The welcoming and engaging atmosphere allowed non-members to experience firsthand the sense of belonging and empowerment that our club fosters. Many participants left with a newfound appreciation for their friendships and an interest in being part of a community that celebrates love, connection, and meaningful interactions. The event was not just a tribute to friendship—it was a testament to the power of shared experiences and the strength of women supporting women.
