Project Elevate - Week 4 took place on 13th February 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Government School, Jayanagar. As part of this year-long initiative under the Basic Education and Literacy focus area, the session aimed to educate 4th to 7th-grade students on crucial topics such as environmental awareness, nutrition, hygiene, and sanitation. During the session, volunteers engaged the students in interactive discussions to help them understand the importance of maintaining a clean environment, conserving natural resources, and adopting sustainable practices in their daily lives. The session on nutrition emphasized the significance of a balanced diet, highlighting essential nutrients required for growth and overall well-being. Additionally, students were taught about hygiene and sanitation, focusing on basic practices such as proper handwashing, oral hygiene, and maintaining personal cleanliness to prevent illnesses. The session was structured to be engaging and easy to comprehend, incorporating visual aids, demonstrations, and fun activities to ensure effective learning. Students participated enthusiastically, asking questions and sharing their own experiences. The initiative aims to equip young minds with valuable knowledge and life skills that will contribute to their personal development and the well-being of their communities. Through Project Elevate, we continue to make a lasting impact by fostering awareness and education among school children, empowering them with essential knowledge that extends beyond the classroom. With each session, we strive to build a healthier, more informed generation ready to make responsible choices for a better future.
