On 2nd February 2025, the Rotaract Club of Bengaluru United had the honor of hosting ಚರ್ಚೆ with Chikmath, an exclusive session with DRRE 2024-25, PP. Rtr. Karthik Chikmath at Lakshya Udaan Boys Home, near Lalbagh. The session was an insightful and engaging discussion that provided valuable takeaways on Rotaract’s future, membership retention, and club growth strategies. Key discussions revolved around strengthening membership retention, enhancing club engagement, and strategic planning for club development. One of the significant suggestions from the session was about bringing up structured venues for DOV (District Official Visit) and Installation ceremonies, where three clubs could share a venue with each club getting a dedicated three-hour slot, making it more efficient and convenient. This proposal, if implemented with district support, could ease event planning for clubs and foster greater collaboration. The open forum allowed members to ask questions, share ideas, and gain insights from Karthik Chikmath’s vast experience.
