On February 15, 2025, the Professional Development team of the Rotaract Club of Mount Carmel College hosted an insightful event titled *"Time Titans"* via Google Meet. The session was led by Joshua Francis, an expert in time management. The main focus of the event was the 8+8+8 rule, a powerful time management framework that promotes a balanced lifestyle. This method divides the day into three parts: 8 hours of hard work, 8 hours of sleep, and 8 hours for personal well-being. The 8 hours of work aim to focus on professional tasks and career progression, ensuring productivity. The 8 hours of sleep are crucial for physical and mental rejuvenation, fostering enhanced performance. The final 8 hours should be dedicated to the *3Fs, 3Hs, & 3Ss*, which serve to nurture a holistic lifestyle. The *3Fs*—family, friends, and faith—help strengthen emotional bonds and provide a solid support system. The *3Hs*—health, hygiene, and hobby—are important for physical wellness and personal growth. Lastly, the *3Ss*—soul, service, and smile—nurture spiritual well-being and promote acts of kindness. Joshua emphasized that combating burnout requires understanding one's purpose. Passion-driven activities are key to maintaining excitement and fulfillment. A conscious effort to align personal passions with daily tasks can promote long-term satisfaction. In conclusion, achieving balanced success is not only about professional milestones but also about nurturing mental and physical health. Evaluating success involves assessing whether one's accomplishments lead to genuine fulfillment, and planning effectively for long-term goals. The event was very helpful and insightful to everyone looking to make a valuable change in their lifestyle.
