The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., in collaboration with Samudra Foundation, hosted Mind Matters, a session dedicated to raising awareness about mental health, self-love, and emotional well-being. Understanding that mental health is just as important as physical health, this session aimed to break the stigma, encourage self-care, and promote a supportive environment for everyone involved. The session kicked off with volunteers sharing key insights about mental health, helping participants understand its significance and the importance of seeking help when needed. To create a warm and uplifting atmosphere, an engaging activity followed where participants were asked to appreciate the person next to them, fostering positivity and making everyone feel valued. One of the most heartfelt activities was a creative exercise where participants designed a heart and wrote positive affirmations inside it, which they then gifted to their loved ones—whether friends, family, or even themselves. This simple yet meaningful activity reinforced the message that kindness, self-love, and affirmations can make a difference in someone’s day. Throughout the session, discussions emphasized the importance of self-care, mental well-being, and recognizing when to seek help. The representatives from Samudra Foundation also shared details about their support network and contact information, ensuring that participants knew they had a place to turn to for help. In the end, Mind Matters was more than just a session—it was a safe space for conversation, connection, and self-reflection, leaving every participant with a stronger understanding of mental health and a heart full of positive energy.
