Utsav Kumar Sahoo highlighting the importance of cervical cancer awareness and followed by Rtr. Rtn. Sowmya and Rtr. Shrishti introduce our speakers of the day 🧬 The speakers, renowned gynecologists, Dr Nidhi B R and Dr Anju Sreshta shared in-depth insights about cervical cancer, including: - Risk factors associated with cervical cancer. - Common symptoms and early warning signs. - Importance of regular screening methods, focusing on the Pap smear and HPV DNA test. - Detailed explanation of the HPV DNA test and its role in early detection. - The preventive benefits of the HPV vaccine and recommended vaccination schedules. 🧬 A Q&A session addressed participants' concerns about: - Age recommendations for HPV vaccination. - Safety and side effects of the HPV vaccine. - Frequency of screening tests for different age groups. - Pregnancy Risks that cervical cancer. - Myths and misconceptions surrounding cervical cancer. 🧬 With reflections shared by Secretary of RaC Koramangala Rtr. Rtn. Jamal Ahmed we also had felicitation of our speakers for the day. 🧬 The vote of thanks was presented by President of RaC Kathmandu West Rtr. Shrishti Shakya who expressed gratitude to all members, the collaborating clubs, and participants from both districts. 🧬 A group picture marked the end of the session, followed by a short chat about upcoming projects by other clubs.
