Rotaract Bangalore South Parade participated in Wordcrafters: Master the Art of Expressions, organized by RaC MCC, with the goal of mastering communication and expression. The event was held on Google Meet on March 7th at 6 PM, featuring an insightful session by Rtn. Mohan Kumar. The session covered various aspects of effective communication, including structuring speeches, engaging an audience, and using body language to enhance delivery. Rtn. Mohan Kumar shared valuable insights on the power of storytelling, the importance of clarity in speech, and techniques to overcome stage fear. One of the most inspiring takeaways was how communication is not just about speaking but also about listening actively and adapting to different audiences. The interactive discussions encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones, practice articulation, and develop confidence in public speaking. Participants also got hands-on experience through practical exercises, where they were encouraged to frame and deliver impromptu speeches. This allowed us to assess our strengths and areas for improvement in real time. The session emphasized that communication is a dynamic process that requires continuous learning and adaptation. The session left us feeling motivated to be more open and expressive, reinforcing the idea that communication is a skill that can be honed with practice and the right guidance.
