RBSP organized the Kids’ Annual Sports Day for Government Higher Primary School, Police Colony, on March 13th. The entire day was filled with excitement as we conducted games for students from grades 1 to 7, with over 200 enthusiastic participants. Each grade had five engaging games, including Simon Says, Running Race, Musical Chair, Cup Stacking, Memory Game, Book Balancing, and Dictation. The energy among the kids was electrifying from the very start. The running race saw them dashing across the field with pure determination, cheering each other on with bright smiles. Simon Says turned into a laughter-filled session as kids eagerly followed and sometimes hilariously mistook the commands. During Musical Chair, the anticipation was palpable as they raced around the chairs, their excitement building with every beat of the music. The Cup Stacking and Memory Game challenged their focus and quick thinking, and the children amazed us with their incredible reflexes and problem-solving abilities. The Book Balancing game had them giggling as they tried to balance books on their heads, testing their patience and coordination. The Dictation game brought out their competitive spirit, as they eagerly wrote down words, determined to get every spelling right. What made this event truly special was that many of these kids don’t often get opportunities like this. This time, they were informed well in advance, and their preparation and enthusiasm were evident in their participation. To make the day even more memorable, we sponsored medals for every game and every grade. Seeing their faces light up as they received their medals was priceless—it gave them a true sense of accomplishment and pride. It was a heartwarming and fulfilling experience, reinforcing the importance of such events in nurturing confidence, sportsmanship, and holistic development in children.
