Shashakti was a powerful initiative, dedicated to empowering underprivileged women by providing essential hygiene and wellness kits. On March 28th, we took to the streets around our college, reaching out to women in need and ensuring they had access to basic necessities that are often overlooked. Through Shashakti, we distributed sanitary pads, nutritious snacks, and water bottles, offering not just supplies but also a message of care and support. However, this initiative was about more than just donations—it was about breaking the stigma around menstrual health and promoting awareness about hygiene and self-care. By connecting with women from lower-income communities, we hoped to uplift them with dignity and respect, reinforcing that every woman, regardless of her background, deserves to live a healthier and more confident life. Shashakti was not just a project—it was a step towards equality, awareness, and change.
